I call this here machine Confuser. It's that Toshiba lappy with the AMD
cpu and ATI graphics chip. The on-board Realtech wifi thing will stay
connected for a maximum of 2 minutes, suspend is flaky, and window
switching can be slow. At this writing, the !sonargnulinux is running
on Confuser. When !trisquel is running, the fans run at full speed, and
everything is so slow... The machine feels so clean and shiney; non of
my dander on it :) -

Resuming testing of Fenrir console speech for *NIX. This time, using
package from AUR on a new installation of !sonargnulinux 2016.7.
Package build and installation appears to have gone without throwing
errors. No speech from console once fenrir is launched from GNOMfE
terminal with sudo, but there is some sound in other vc; sounds like
some kind of interference. VC running x-session is uneffected. I
suspect a speech dispatcher issue; looking... -

The orca screen reader has come a long way since the release of Belenos,
especially with regard to performance with interacting with the Mozilla
application programs. Attempts to run latest orca in my Trisquel
installation result in freezes and hangs when interacting with ABrowser;
maybe due to some part of Trisquel's accessibility infrastructure not
matching others? Adding the Accessibility Development ppa to my
Trisquel doesn't seem to fix the probmem. Trisquel 8 should address most
of these, since it will be based on Ubuntu 16.04. Thanks for your
